Karkady (كركديه) means hibiscus flower in Arabic, and is often made as a tea in the Arab World. It is sweet, refreshing, a deep pink colour and can be drank hot or cold. Karkady drink (مشروب الكركدية) is made by boiling hibiscus flowers with water and can be found on street stalls, coffee shops and supermarkets. This drink is most often associated with Egypt.
